Army Detain 44 Soldiers Who Fled Boko Haram

At least 44 soldiers who were part of those stationed in Mubi, Adamawa State, when the town was over run and captured by Boko Haram insurgents last October are being detained by the army in an Underground cell in Jos  Premium Times Nigeria reports.

The soldiers had  fled their barracks failing to engage the attacking terrorists and leaving the town defenceless.

Nigerian Teachers Task FG To Secure Schools Ahead Polls

Ahead of next month’s general elections, the Nigeria Union of Teachers, NUT, has charged the Federal Government to urgently address the security challenges in the country in order to ensure free, fair and credible elections.
Making the statement at the weekend was NUT President, Comrade Michael Alogba Olukoya, during the union’s 2015 annual Solemn Assembly, organisedin Abuja.
