Cameroonian officials have confirmed that Boko Haram
insurgents have been chased out of the country in a joint effort with
forces from Chad.
The insurgents who attacked a town in the far north; Fotokol had retreated to Nigeria after at least 100 people were killed in the attack. Government spokesman Issa Tchiroma Bakary made this announcement The Nation reports.
The terrorists have attacked a border town in Niger Republic, the second foreign country attacked by the group in one week.
