The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential
campaign train today visited one of Nigeria’s largest cities, Kano, as
the ruling party’s message of transformation continues to reverberate
across the North-west zone of the country.
The president’s campaign team who visited Zamfara and Katsina states yesterday, first stormed the palace of the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II in his palace to pay homage to the revered traditional ruler, before proceeding to the campaign ground where thousands of PDP supporters had gathered waiting for the President and his entourage.

The president’s team included Vice-President Namadi Sambo; PDP
chairman, Alhaji Adamu Muazu; the director general of the Goodluck/Sambo
2015 campaign organisation, Dr Ahmadu Ali; and his deputy, Mr. Peter
Obi,amongst others.
