I never endorsed anybody for Abia guber –Idika Kalu

Former Finance Minister, Dr. Kalu Idika Kalu, has debunked media reports that he endorsed Mr. Uche Chuta, the candidate of United Democratic Party (UDP), for Abia State governorship race.

It was reported recently that Dr. Kalu had endorsed Mr. Chuta, as the next governor of Abia State.
Kalu, who said he was deeply embarrassed by the report, noted that he was indisposed on the day the said visitation took place.
He said: “It is not true that I have endorsed the candidature of Mr. Uche Chuta of United Democratic Party (UDP) for Abia State governorship for the 2015 election.
There was no time he visited me for endorsement or whatsoever. “Even, I wasn’t feeling well on the day it was reported that he visited me for the said endorsement.”
