Gunmen kill 3 in Plateau village

Kantoma village in Mangu Local Gov­ernment Area of Plateau State was yesterday thrown into con­fusion when gunmen at­tacked the community, kill­ing three persons.
It was gathered that the gun­men attacked the village at about 7am, shooting at villagers who were leaving their homes for their farms.

A member of the commu­nity, Ulama Joseph, told Daily Sun on phone that when the at­tackers left, three people were discovered dead, with the head of one of the victims cut off and taken away.
Plateau State Police Public Relations Officer, Abu Em­manuel who confirmed the inci­dent, said gunmen attacked the village and beheaded a member of the community and took the head away.
