2015: Araraume gets rousing welcome from supporters

Thousands of supporters of Senator Ifeanyi Araraume yesterday thronged the Sam Mbakwe international Cargo Airport in Owerri to give him a rousing welcome from the nation’s capital, Abuja.

They accompanied his motorcade through the major streets of Owerri, the Imo State capital to his campaign office along the Owerri/Onitsha Road.
Araraume had vowed that nobody could get away with his hard earned mandate as the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming general elections.
Senator Araraume relocated to Abuja after the December 8, 2014 controversial governorship primary election in which the Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha, was declared as the winner.
Addressing his teeming supporters at his campaign office, he vowed that he would not allow anybody to take away his mandate, saying he stood for justice, adding that President Goodluck Jonathan was a man of justice and that he would ensure that justice was done.
