Boko Haram Battle Troops In Konduga

Boko Haram militants reportedly returned to Konduga in Borno state yesterday, September 25.
According to a report by SaharaReporters, the insurgents returned to the town in an attempt to seize Mauduguri, the state capital.

A source confirmed that the sect regrouped and returned Konduga while some of them were engaged in a gun battle with Nigerian army in Benisheik, Borno State.
Konduga has been the site of much fighting between the sect and the Nigerian army.
For some time Boko Haram fighters dominated Nigerian soldiers in battle and took several major towns in Borno and Adamawa States but things have been quite different in the past weeks, as the soldiers have recording victory.

Several attempts by Boko Haram to attack Konduga town has been  that inflicted a heavy defeat on them.
The Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, had hinted that the F but will rather celebrate the laying down of arms by Boko Haram members.
