Nigerian celebrities visited an opening party of 
an advocacy group, Enough is Enough Nigeria (EiE Nigeria), where the 
plans for the debate series of the forthcoming 2015 general elections 
were announced.
The series, ‘The People’s Debate’, would be held ahead of the February general elections. These debate series has been created to position voters at the centre of the democratic process by reinforcing the narrative that elections and governance are about the people. (Scroll down for photos)
According to the NET, popular broadcaster, Funmi Iyanda, said: “This platform is meant to constitute itself into an effective opposition to governance, not just at the point of election but throughout their terms in office.”
