Man kills son in Ebonyi


The Ebonyi State Police Command yesterday Sunday Dec. 28th confirmed the arrest of a 45yr old man named Nwofu Igbo, who allegedly killed his son in Nwofe Community in Izzi LGA.

Bahrain's main opposition movement, al-Wefaq, says its leader has been arrested after a day of questioning at the interior ministry.
Sheikh Ali Salman was summoned for questioning about "violating certain aspects of law," the ministry said.

Bangalore blast kills Indian woman

A home-made bomb exploded outside a restaurant in the southern Indian city of Bangalore, killing a woman who was passing by and injuring five others.
The blast on Sunday night took place in a busy area and the police have described it as a "terrorist attack".
