Emeka Ike Reveals Names Of Movie Producers That Sleep With Actresses For Roles

Mechanical Engineer-turned Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike has pointed accusing fingers at some Nollywood bigwigs for sleeping with actresses in exchange of roles.

The Nollywood actor, who had marital challenges earlier this year has made it known in a recent interview how sad he is with the modus operandi  of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria. He made it known that the Ibinabo Fiberesima-led tenure which is still ongoing can only be compared to the biblical Sodom and Gomorrah, where producers sleep with actresses to give them role while they practice homosexuality with the males.

NDLF To Hold Rally In Support Of Chibok Girls

The Nigeria Democratic Liberty Forum (NDLF) has announced a “Bring Back Our Girls Rally” to take place in New York on Saturday, October 11, at the official Nigeria Independence Day parade.
The rally, aimed at maintaining the spotlight on the abducted girls, will run from 54th St to 45th Street on Second Avenue, the corner of Nigeria House, from 10 in the morning until 6pm.

Nigerian Military Jet In Near-Crash After Losing Two Tires During Lift-Off At Yola Airport

Suspected to be one of the jets utilized for aerial bombardments against Boko Haram terrorists in the northeast, the jet experienced the incident at around 2:30pm.
 
The Punch has reported today that a military jet was in a near crash at Yola airport in Adamawa, when the aircraft lost two tires preparing to lift off.
Departure gate at Yola airport Suspected to be one of the jets utilized for aerial bombardments against Boko Haram terrorists in the northeast, the jet experienced the incident at around 2:30pm.
Panic ensued, and emergency responders mobilized, believing there may have been a fire on the aircraft.
The airport's runway was temporarily closed to traffic following the incident.

Keshi Blasts Reporters, Vows Never To Answer Questions On Uche Again

Sports reporters yesterday saw another side of Super Eagles interim manager Stephen Keshi after he reacted angrily to repeated questions as to why he is yet to invite Villareal striker Ikechukwu Uche to the national team, despite pleas by many football experts and highly placed individuals, including former governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, who feel the striker would improve Nigeria’s chances of qualification given the country’s poor start.

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday told its state chapters it cannot undertake the endorsement of candidates for the 2015 elections, citing “the sanctity of our nomination processes.” The endorsement frenzy began after the party by-passed the nomination process at the national level and used the same endorsement fast lane to send President Goodluck Jonathan to the same election, unchallenged, despite his unpopularity.

  In a statement issued after an NWC meeting in Abuja, National Secretary Wale Oladipo said the party notedthat some elected officers at the state level (referring to the governors), had continued to engage in endorsement processes despite warnings from the national leadership that they, as unbiased umpires, should desist.
