Nigerian Military Jet In Near-Crash After Losing Two Tires During Lift-Off At Yola Airport

Suspected to be one of the jets utilized for aerial bombardments against Boko Haram terrorists in the northeast, the jet experienced the incident at around 2:30pm.
 
The Punch has reported today that a military jet was in a near crash at Yola airport in Adamawa, when the aircraft lost two tires preparing to lift off.

Panic ensued, and emergency responders mobilized, believing there may have been a fire on the aircraft.
The airport's runway was temporarily closed to traffic following the incident.
