PDP Instigated Militancy in the Niger Delta – South-South APC

Militants

South-South All Progressive Congress (APC) Members have accused the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) of instigating the return of militancy in the region “to derail President Buhari’s government, in order to avoid the long arm of the law on their criminal activities while in government”.
According to PUNCH, this was contained in a communique issued at the end of its South-South zonal rally at the Government House in Benin.

“The zone notes the upsurge in the renewed militancy in the area by ‘The Avengers’ and condemns its activities in its entirety.
The zone does not believe that their nefarious activities are driven by any patriotic fervour, rather, we have cause to believe that they are instigated by the opposition Peoples Democratic Party to derail President Buhari’s government, in order to avoid the long arm of the law on their criminal activities while in government,” it read
