Convicted rapists asks police to put him back in jail as he can't cope

An unrepentant serial rapist asked a judge to send him back to jail as he cannot cope with his insatiable lust.
Trevor ByrneA convicted rapist, Trevor Byrne, 32, who was on the verge of being released from jail, pleaded with the police to return him back to prison as he would not be able to cope with the requirements of his release which includes never to go back to the offense.

According to Irish News, Byrne was sentenced to 8 years in prison with two years suspended, after he attempted to rob a woman just 14 hours after he was released from prison.
He had just served a 15-year term for raping another woman, and was released under strict conditions which includes abstaining from alcohol and staying under close supervision by a probation service.
Representing himself at the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, Byrne said he fired his legal team because they do not comply with his instructions, telling the judge that he did not want his life controlled.
He said:
"I’m entitled to take a few days out of my life to get my head together. Every time I do better I seem to make things worse."
He was granted his wish as the judge revoked the suspended sentence and sent him back to jail.
