A Shocking video has emerged of an Afghan woman
beaten to death by a mob before her body was set on fire and dumped in a
muddy river in the heart of Afghanistan’s capital.

The video shows crowds of men repeatedly stamping on the 27-year-old, named only as Farkhunda, near the Shah-e Doh Shamshira shrine and mosque in the heart of Kabul, according to the Daily Mail.
The UK Mirror reports that in the video, the young men repeatedly kick and punch the woman. While some throw stones and buckets at her as she struggles to get to her feet.
The assault on the woman then continues as she lies on the ground – unconscious and bleeding heavily.
Some men in the crowd can be heard shouting “Allahu Akbar” (“God is great”).
Afghan police have arrested seven suspects in connection to the killing. The Police had tried to disperse the crowd by shooting in the air, but had reacted too late.
But her devastated parents have told Kabul police that their daughter had suffered with mental illness for many years and that she had not meant to burn Islam’s holy book.
