The Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, has said that he was once slapped for exposing stealing when he was studying at school.
The Emir of Kano disclosed this story from his childhood on February 8, 2015 in Kano during an interview, Leadership reports.
The unpleasant incident took place at Sanusi’s alma mater, Saint Ann School. The Emir of Kano said that he was about seven or eight years old when he and his schoolmates discovered that their biscuits and other provisions repeatedly kept on disappearing. The children came to the conclusion that their matron who had access to their belongings must be stealing their goods. Emir Sanusi confronted her and earned a slap from the angry woman.
According to Emir Sanusi, he led his first demonstration at the age of seven at Saint Ann, School, Kaduna, Kaduna State.
In the interview Sanusi also described himself as the person who always talks about missing items.
When he was questioned about his knowledge of the Bible, Sanusi II responded that he was the best in Bible Knowledge and had scored a distinction in Bible Knowledge in his common entrance examination.
Recently, Lamido Muhammad Sanusi II, has been officially confirmed as the 14th Emir of Kano.
He was presented with his staff of office by the king makers of the Emirate council signifying the official beginning of his time as the Emir of Kano.
