Chief Olabode George said this while addressing a press conference in Lagos. According to Bode George the statement made by Olusegun Obasanjo was unsavoury and unjust and he begged the Obas to talk to the former president so he does not lose the respect Nigerians have for him.

Bode George was quoted as saying by PM news: “Baba has served his own term, he has played his roles. I don’t want to conclude that his life would end up like Saul in the Bible.
“I will also want to call on our Obas to talk to Baba that he should remain at that pinnacle of respect because it is becoming too personal. No human being is perfect.”
‎Bode George also hinted that  Obasanjo could have made those statements because he did not attend the council of state meeting in Abuja to understand the real reasons for the poll shift.
“If Baba had attended the council of state meeting in Abuja, he would have understood why the elections were postponed.”
Bode George is a staunch supporter of Goodluck Jonathan of the PDP in the presidential elections, and he recently asked Gen Buhari of the APC to explain why he jailed Pa Obafemi Awolowo and Pa Micheal Ajasin during his rule as military head of state.
