A top politician in Ibadan, Mrs Risikat Bola Amole
has reportedly passed away, few months after declaring her intention to
run for a seat in the Federal House of Representatives for the
Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency of Oyo State under the umbrella of
the Accord Party.
Amole, described as one of the richest women in Ibadan during her
lifetime was said to have died under mysterious circumstance in her home
in Ibadan after a very brief illness.
She was the CEO of BIMS African Foods Limited in London, United Kingdom, before she decided to venture into politics.
According to report, Amole who is in her 50s has been the money behind many top politicians in Oyo.
She was until her death the National president of the Association of
Food and Vegetable Exporters of Nigeria exporting African Food into the
UK.
