The man, who goes by the name Diego Neria Lejárraga, wrote a letter after being rejected by his parish in Spain and called “the devil’s daughter” by a priest.

LGBT Catholic organization Dignity USA head, Marianne Duddy-Burke commented on the act by the Pope, saying: “For the pope to meet with a transgender man about to be married, and for that meeting to result in this man feeling more hopeful about his place in the church, shows a concern for those at the very margins of our church. I hope the pope listened carefully to this man’s experience and will speak about what he heard”.

The storu was first published by Hoy, a Spanish-language publication in the nation’s Extremadura region.
The report claims that the pope had embraced him and that he now feels at peace.
Pope Francis has been said to have a good record with the LGBT community.
People have gone as far as to hail him for shifting the Catholic Church’s tone when it comes to LGBT issues.
The Catholic church has always held unto the “traditional marriage”  believe which has angered the LGBT community, this act has been said to make one nun, run a secret ministry for trans people under a fake name, Sister Monica.
