Manila officials at the Philippines are preparing for Pope Francis’ visit this week in the most disgusting way imaginable. They manhunt orphan children, chain them and put in cages!

On the eve of Pope Francis’ arrival to the capital of the Philipinnes, Manila, hundreds of street boys and girls were detained by police and put behind bars. MailOnline investigation has found that children are kept in appalling conditions.

Some of them were put in cages with adult criminals who abuse and beat them. Starved and chained to pillars little prisoners had to sleep on floors, made to go to the toilet in buckets and fed leftovers which they eat from the floor.

Six million people are expected to attend an open air mass conducted by Pope Francis in Manila’s Rizal Park on Sunday.
