Police Force Decorates New Officers

The 17th indigenous Inspector-General of Police, IGP Suleiman Abba, today decorated ten newly promoted Senior Police Officers at the Force Headquarters, Abuja the Nigeria police have announced on their website.

The event was witnessed by family members of the promotees as well as representatives of the Police Service Commission and development partners.

In his remarks, the IGP charged the decorated Officers to live up to expectations of their responsibilities and to inject their wealth of experiences in assuring violence-free general elections in February, 2015
It will be recalled that recently the Inspector General of Police, Sulieman Abba redeployed 28 Assistant Inspectors General of Police to different states and making the controversial Joseph Mbu Lagos State Assistant Inspector general of Police.
