Nurse Victorino Chua is alleged to have killed three and poisoned 18 others
Victorino Chua who worked as a nurse killed three patients and poisoned 18 more by contaminating medication at their hospital at Stockport, Great Manchester, UK. A massive police investigation revealed that Chua had secretly injected insulin into droppers and vials.

At least twenty-one patients suffered as a result of Chua’s malicious actions between June 2011 and January 2012. Although motive for his actions is yet to be established as the accused denies a total of 36 charges.
He was charged with the three murders, one count of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, 23 counts of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm, eight counts of attempting to cause a poison to be administered and one count of administering a poison.
This is not the first time when nurses make use of their patients’ vulnerability, earlier this year an Italian nurse was arrested on suspicion of killing 38 terminal patients as she had found them or their families annoying. One more male nurse chose a deadly way of demonstrating his resuscitation skills causing the deaths of 30 patients in Germany.
