The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.), on Friday at the APC presidential campaign rally at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, said his priority would become fighting insecurity in the country if elected.
Addressing people at the rally, Buhari said that first of all they have to secure Nigeria. “What we are witnessing in the North-East, where people are being killed, is not acceptable. We know the Nigerian military is capable of bringing peace and stability to this country. They need to be given the leadership and that is what I promise, if elected,” he said.
Moreover, the APC presidential candidate promised to fix the country’s infrastructure deficit, strengthen the nation’s economy and eradicate corruption. He also promised to create employment opportunities for the teeming unemployed youths in the country and also to give special infrastructural support to Lagos, being a former capital if elected.
