Former Nigerian goalkeeper, Wilfred Agbonavbare has been diagnosed with cancer.
The spain based player, is currently battling the illness at a spanish based hospital.

Wilfred Agbonavbare as a member of Nigeria’s U-21 Mexico 1983 Flying Eagles,
1984 AFCON silver medalist and 1994 AFCON gold medalist and also played for Rayo Vallecano.


Sadly the former player had lost his wife three years ago to cancer.
Cancers are a large family of diseases which involve abnormal cell growth with the potential to invade or spread to other parts of the body.
