Esperance unveils Eduok

Former Dolphins’ FC star, Emem Eduok, has been unveiled by Tunisian club Esperance du Tunis.
Eduok, who had been in Tunis for close to two weeks and had been training with the former African champions, was unveiled alongside two other new signings made by the club.
The two other players that were unveiled alongside Eduok were Hatem Béjaoui and Magno Cruz.
As customary at unveiling ceremonies, Eduok who was the highest goal scorer at the 2014 Federation Cup and was also amongst the top scorers last season in the Nigerian Premier League with 20 goals to his name, was handed the jersey number (21) he would be donning at his new club.

Before his unveiling, Eduok had been locked in a transfer saga following claims by a Norwegian Club Sarpsborg 08 that the Nigeria international already had a pre-contract agreement with them and threatened to report the striker to the world football governing body, FIFA, for a breach.
The messy transfer deal cost Eduok a place in the Super Eagles team that went on tour of the United Arab Emirates as an angered Nigeria Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick, sent the former Flying Eagles star away from camp, claiming he would be a distraction to the other players then in Abuja preparing for friendly matches with two countries.
