An unmanned drone has supposedly crashed at Dumge
village of Mafa Local Government Area of Borno State, KSM News, Borno
state government media aide’s Facebook account, has reported.
The drone supposed to be used in the counter-terrorism operation in the Northeast.

According to KSM news, a witness Muktar Usman says of the drone on the social media as follows: “It could be French. And what happened after that? The drone is still armed. I can see missiles attached to the wings. Locals have to be careful!”
The Nigerian Defence Headquarters is yet to confirm the information concerning the drone.

Nigeria is not known for using drones in war against Boko Haram insurgents.
The village Dumge is 30km northeast of Maiduguri.
Borno is the state worst hit by terrorists.
It should be noted that on last Saturday, January 24, Nigerian troops and Boko Haram insurgents were involved in ferocious fight for the city of Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
