Commenting, the multi instrumentalist, music producer and CEO of WOMP, Wole Oni, described the event as one that would set new standards in jazz circles in the country: “It is going to be an evening of relaxation and premium jazz music; an evening for mature minds. It is basically a celebration of the Wole Oni brand and billed to perform are some of Nigeria’s best artistes. Lovers of good music in Nigeria cannot afford to miss this quintessential event which will close down Lagos on December 28.”
And billed to thrill are Gallant Stallion, Onyeka Onwenu, Tosin Martins, Timi Dakolo, Gloria Ibru, Yinka Davies, Ara and Nosa Umaigba among a host of others.
“Red Carpet kicks-off at 7pm and the show proper will run from 8pm to 10 pm. This is calling on fun seekers and lovers of good music to come out for an evening of audacious, bold and crispy music,” Oni added.
In a career that spans over two decades, Oni has emerged as one of the most sought after music producers in the country and he is the brains behind numerous gospel hits including Midnight Star’s Igwe.
