GLO splashes end of year gifts on charity homes


People friendly telecom operator, Globacom has donated food items worth millions of naira
 to charity organisations in the country in the spirit of end of year festivities.

The items comprising of edibles and essentials for children were delivered by senior staff of the company to several charity homes in different locations across the country, including Lagos, Ibadan, Benin, Enugu, Abuja and Port Harcourt.
Among the charity organisations which benefitted from the end of year bounty included Little Saints Orphanage, Palm Groove and Heritage Homes, Anthony Village, both in Lagos; Oluyole Cheshire Home, Sango and the Ibadan Motherless Babies’ Home in the Oyo State capital; Zion Orphanage, Lugbe and St Mary’s Children’s Home for Orphans in Abuja; Oronsaye Orphanage Home, Agbodo and Edo Orphanage in Benin; Nigerian Red Cross Motherless Babies’ Home, Ogbette and Abandoned Children’s Home in Enugu and Port Harcourt Children’ Home, Borokiri  as well as Lifeline Orphanage in Port Harcourt.
Christmas period, Globacom, said was designed for spreading love and goodwill and showing care and concern for the less privileged in the society.
At Heritage Homes, Anthony, Lagos, the Globacom team, led by its Global Business Director for Lagos Division, Mr. Kunle Akanmu, was welcomed by its administrator, Mrs Victoria Oshuntokun who commended Globacom for its sustained support of the home.
