The recently opened twitter account belonging to the terrorist sect, Boko Haram has been taken down.
The account has been said to have been suspended by the company, it had only 19 tweets and was used to spread the group’s messages.
They posted in three languages, English, Arabic and Hausa and also posted videos, hosted on sendvid, and images, hosted on Justpaste.it.
In their last tweet, they said they were in control of Baga, The Nigerian army now claims to have cleared the town.
They also showed pictures of their attacks and used good graphic designs.
Twitter has increased their efforts in banning extremist groups off it’s social forumn.
Twitter have suspended accounts associated with Al-Shabaab, a militant Somali group, Islamic Jihad Union, Indian Mujahideen, and Al-Qaida.
Boko Haram’s appearance on the world wide web has been reduced by the activities of both facebook and Youtube who have been bannishing any groups set to deliver their messages.
