The Leadership reported that the SARS operatives also arrested two members of the gang who led them to their hideout where arms and charms were recovered.

The command’s spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi, who made this known to newsmen on Monday, said the gang members have been terrorizing Atan/Onibukun communities in Ado Odo Otta local government area of the state.
He revealed that the operatives have been on surveillance of the den for almost a month now before recently embarking on the operation.
The command spokesman thanked some members of the public who helped in gathering information on the area.
According to him, the suspected armed robbers, on sighting the SARS operatives, opened fire and engaged them in gun fight that lasted for hours.
Adejobi said the gun fight left three of the suspected armed robbers dead, while two of the gang members were arrested with others escaping with bullet wounds.
Recall that the Bauchi State Police Command some days ago also revealed that there were casualties from the gun fight that ensued between unknown gunmen and security operatives in the state.
Meanwhile, the crime rate in Ogun State is gradually increasing, as it would be recalled that three school graduates were arrested by a joint team of state police and the security initiative codenamed Operation Mesa (OP Mesa) for being involved in vehicle stealing.
