Nigeria’s Super Eagles have moved up one place in the
latest FIFA rankings released today in Zurich, Switzerland, by the
world football governing body, FIFA.
This is coming in-spite of the fact that the Nigerian men’s national team failed to qualify for the just concluded African Cup of Nations, AFCON which was hosted in Equatorial Guinea between January and February this year.
According to the latest ranking announced moments ago, the Eagles climbed one spot to become the 42nd football playing nation in the world.

In Africa, Nigeria now ranked seventh despite not competing at the 2015 AFCON which was won by Cote d’Ivoire.
