How Yoruba Actor Almost Beat Police Officer To Coma

Soji Taiwo, fondly called Omo Banke almost lost himself on Monday morning of January 26, 2015, around Ogba, Lagos, when he had a fist smack with an officer of the Nigeria Police.

His action, which took place at about 11:05am, surprised some of those who witnessed the event and concluded that the actor may have acted under the influence of alcohol.

Afenifere Renewal Group Denies Jonathan's Endorsement

A Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere Renewal Group (ARG) has publicly denied ever endorsing President Goodluck Jonathan’s re-election bid.

The public denial was in a reaction to the alleged endorsement of Mr. President by the group as reported by sections of the media, PM News reports.
The Afenifere in a statement issued on Wednesday signed by its publicity secretary, Kunle Famoriyo, distanced itself from the purported endorsement.
Famoriyo described the use of its insignia to promote the said endorsement as fraudulent and an attempt to deceive Yoruba people.

National Channel Tried To Falsify Online Poll


Africa Independent Television (AIT) supposedly try to falsify online poll for February 14 election, in which All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari overtook incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan.
Despite of showing controversial documentary by AIT against APC candidate, Nigerians in pole gave their votes for Mr.Buhari.
