Siasia to cap Arsenal’s Iwobi against Tunisia

Arsenal’s U21 captain and Dream Team VI new call up, Alex Iwobi, will get his first cap in Nigeria’s colours in next week’s international friendly match against Tunisia’s Olympic team.
This much was revealed by Coach Samson Siasia after the youthful winger dazzled at training in Abuja where the nation’s U23 team has been preparing for the 2016 Olympic Games and this year’s All Africa Games qualifiers.

According to Cyprianlah, the man was alleged to be a thief and was caught and beaten today in Calabar by some soldiers after allegedly stealing from a woman. The man was reportedly said to have pretended to want to buy short knickers from a woman for N500.

National Assembly empowers FCT to generate revenue

Finally, after15 years tussle, the National Assembly has empowered the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) to independently generate revenue for the administration of the territory.
The feat was achieved on Wednesday when the Senate adopted the harmonised report of the Senate and the House of Representatives Committee on the FCT on a bill establishing the FCT Internal Revenue Service.
