Police Find Man’s Head In Ebute Meta, Body In Surulere


The Lagos State police have recovered the mutilated remains of a man simply identified as Christmas, which were dumped in two different locations in the state.

Punch reports that the victim’s body was found in Alaka, Surulere, while his head was found at Olokodana junction in the Ebute Meta area, yesterday. According to reports, although the identities of Christmas’ killers have not been known, Christmas was said to belong to a group before his gruesome death.

DSS arrests NCP candidate over disruption of PDP rally

The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested a House of Assembly candidate of the National Conscience Party (NCP) in Bayelsa State, Mr. Lucky Ogbazi over the alleged dis­ruption of presidential sen­sitization campaign rally of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ofoni, Sag­bama Local Government Area of the state.
Ogbazi’s family, how­ever, said efforts to know his whereabouts from DSS offi­cials had failed since he was taken away from his home.
