Baga's Destruction In Images

The Amnesty International has released the satellite images of last week’s attack on the towns of Baga and Doron by the Boko Haram sect.
The before and after images of the two neighbouring towns, Baga and Doron show the devastating effect of the attacks which left over 3,700 structures damaged or completely destroyed. Other nearby towns and villages were also attacked over this period.

How Boko Haram Killed Woman In Labour

Amnesty International claimed on Thursday that Boko Haram killed a woman who was in labour during what is feared could be the deadliest attack of the militants’ six-year insurgency.


The human rights group said one witness to the assault on Baga, told them the woman was shot by indiscriminate fire that also cut down small children.
