Cameroon’s army has said it killed 143 Boko Haram fighters, with the government saying it was the biggest defeat it had inflicted to date on the Islamist group.

According to a Cameroonian minister at least 143 Boko Haram terrorists were killed in an attack on a military base on Monday, January 12th.
It was said to be the heaviest loss sustained by the Nigerian Islamist group in Cameroon.
