The bill secured the vote of 242 politicians from the lower house of parliament on Tuesday, 14 more than the two-thirds majority it required. However, several politicians from religious parties and Imran Khan's opposition Tehreek-e-Insaf party abstained.

OAU students plot against Jonathan’s re-election over tuition

 President Goodluck Jonathan to reduce their tuition or be ready to face their 

wrath during forthcoming presidential election.

The Student Union President, Mr. Isaac Ibikunle, and the Secretary, Mr. Oludare Bamidele, 

stated this in a statement.

Football Fives championship comes to Nigeria
