FIFA vice president Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein of Jordan will stand for election in a bid to oust Sepp Blatter as leader of football’s scandal-hit world governing body.

The 39-year-old Prince Ali declared his intention Tuesday to stand as a candidate in the FIFA presidential election on May 29 in Zurich, where Blatter has pledged to seek a fifth mandate at age 79.

We’ve employed 50,000 youths in 43 months –Amosun

Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, has disclosed that his administration had, in 43 months of its emergence, employed no fewer than 50,000 youths in the state through direct and indirect employment.
Amosun, speaking during a live radio programme tagged: “Meet the Governor” on Paramount FM, Abeokuta, said the feat was made possible by the holistic approach of his administration to unemployment, including creating an enabling environment for business and industries to thrive.

Angry Youths Burn PDP Secretariat

 

The Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) secretariat in Kanke Local Government 
Area of Plateau State has been burnt by some aggrieved supporters of the party.
The aggrieved youths were also said to have destroyed President Goodluck Jonathan and Senator Gyang Pwajok’s campaign posters.

PDP Accuses APC, Buhari Of Fake Polls

 

The Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari of planning fake poll rating.
According to the PDP, the APC created the poll in such a way to make the Nigerian public believe that 75 percent of the voting population is in support of Buhari ahead of the February 14 Presidential election.
