Ekiti guber poll: No regret voting against Fayemi, teachers tell APC



Teachers in Ekiti State yesterday said they have no regret for voting against former Governor Kayode Fayemi during the June 21, 2014 governorship election in the State.
Acting under the auspices of Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Ekiti chapter, the body said its members in the state had every reason to vote against Fayemi for allegedly introducing anti-teachers policies during his reign.

Suicide bomber kills self in failed mission

A suicide bomber blew self up yesterday in Gombe State, after being denied access to the premises of the Evangelical Church of West Africa (ECWA), at Tudunwada in the capital, Gombe. Eight worshippers were injured and rushed to hospital.
