2015: Sambo’s PDP reconciliation moves unsettle APC


As political manoeuvres towards the 2015 general elections intensify, the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) is jittery over the moves by Vice President Namadi Sambo to reconcile aggrieved members of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) across the country, Daily Sun can now reveal.
Vice President Sambo has embarked on an unexpected peace drive across the country, reconciling aggrieved aspirants of the party and galvanising support to ensure victory of the party in the coming polls.

Boko Haram: Kalu commends military, police

Eminent businessman and former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Kalu, has applauded the Nigerian Armed Forces, police and other security agencies for their patriotism in curbing insurgency.

Suicide bomber kills self in failed mission

A suicide bomber blew self up yesterday in Gombe State, after being denied access to the premises of the Evangelical Church of West Africa (ECWA), at Tudunwada in the capital, Gombe. Eight worshippers were injured and rushed to hospital.
