Mathew Knowles' reacts to backlash for selling Beyonce's memorabilia

Last week, Beyonce's father put up a garage sale in front of his office where he sold off some of Beyonce/Destiny's Child and Solange's memorabilia. After he was criticised for doing it, with many thinking he did it because he's fallen on hard times, Mathew did an interview to set the record straight. He said the reasoning behind the garage sale had nothing to do with him needing money.

President Barack Obama apologized to a couple after his golf game in Hawaii forced the bride and groom to relocate their wedding Sunday.
According to a report out from Bloomberg, the couple -- both captains in the Army -- had previously invited Obama to their wedding, knowing that he'd likely return to his family's vacation spot for the holidays.

Four armed robbery suspects identified as Onyenge Osanie, Azuka Eboh, Ezelonwu Michael and Afolabi Shakiru, all  pictured above who were arrested by officers of the Lagos state Police state command for looting shops and stealing from some phone dealers at the Alaba International Market in Lagos on December 20th, told the police that they did not steal from the traders but only collected their dues as the phone dealers failed to settle them after they supplied them with stolen phones.

Greek MPs' vote triggers snap poll

Greek MPs have rejected the presidential candidate nominated by Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, triggering a snap general election.
Stavros Dimas failed to reach the necessary 180 votes, which means that parliament will have to be dissolved.

Virgin Atlantic flight carries out 'non-standard' landing

A Virgin Atlantic passenger plane has carried out a "non-standard landing" at Gatwick airport after "a technical issue with one of the landing gears".
Virgin had said flight VS43 travelling from Gatwick to Las Vegas had to return to the West Sussex airport.
