Etuhu: I moved to Sweden to win titles


Nigeria midfielder Dick­son Etuhu has disclosed that he joined Swedish club AIK Stockholm to win titles.
Etuhu said he had offers that could have fetched him more money, but opted for a change of scene so as to win trophies.

Akwa Ibom PDP crisis: Cracks hit G-22 over defection to APC

Disagreement has hit the group of ag­grieved aspirants in Akwa Ibom State, who lost the last Peoples Dem­ocratic Party (PDP), gover­norship primaries.
The group, which is known as G-ZZ is said to have witnessed a major crack in its ranks because of a mutual suspicion over the agenda of some vocal members of the group.

IMO PDP GUBER PRIMARY: Ihedioha has no certificate of return –Okoroma


Controversy has continued to rage over who actually won the Imo State peoples Democratic Party’s gubernatorial prima­ry election held on December 8. It is be­tween the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Emeka Ihedioha who was pronounced as win­ner of the contest and Senator Ifeanyi Ararume who came second. The latter is alleging that the primary was rigged in favour of the former, as the number of valid votes exceeded the number of votes cast.
The Personal Assistant to the erstwhile Senator, Dr James Okoroma is, therefore, challenging the Deputy Speaker, asking him to produce the certificate of return issued to him by the election committee if he actually won the election

Enyeama delighted to make CAF final three

The Lille of France goal­keeper has been named along­side Pierre Emerick-Aubamey­ang of Borussia Dortmund and Gabon, and current holder, Yaya Toure of Manchester City and Ivory Coast.
And the 32-year old has told SL10.ng of his delight at making the final shortlist of the prestigious award.
