When music cum screen diva, Onyeka Onwenu was appointed Director General of the National Council for Women Development (NCWD), some people felt that she deserved much better. For them, not only is the ‘Elegant Stallion’ highly educated with a Master’s degree in Media Studies, she is also a mega star who deserved a bigger portfolio. On the contrary, others welcomed Onyeka’s appointment as the NCWD boss, saying she is a natural women’s rights advocate.

Police battle fighters in Tunisian town

A member of Tunisia's security forces has been killed in a shootout with an armed group at its hideout in a town near the capital.

Fire Engulfs Murtala Mohammed International Airport
