After the launch of the TARA Genevieve Pink Ball Lip Stain on Sunday August 3, House of Tara was glad to support the pre-event Walk against cancer that held on Saturday, 13 September and featured some of Nigeria's brightest celebrities and media personalities including Genevieve Nnaji, Funke Akindele, Toolz, Kemi Adetiba, TokeMakinwa, Seyi Shay, Fade Ogunro, Osas Ighodaro, Lynxxx, Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi, Mai Atafo, Bolanle Olukanni amongst others. Boko Haram reportedly abduct men and women in Adamawa state

Daily Trust is reporting that about 50 men and women were abducted after an attack on Gulak community in Adamawa state on Saturday September 13th.

The residents of the community reportedly confirmed that the attack took place and people, including married women were loaded into trucks and taken away.


Musa Uba, a resident of Husra village in Michika LGA which is one of the villages that came under heavy attack said able-bodied young men were forcefully converted into the sect after recruitment efforts through preaching failed to attract volunteers.

“They conducted preaching sessions to attract converts to their sect but people only listened out of fear. The next day they asked if anybody wanted to join them but there was no response, so they selected many healthy looking young men and ordered them to follow them. One of the victims is my relative who did body building exercises regularly,” he said.

Shocking! Woman Sets Lover On Fire In Ondo The 23-year old woman has been arrested and charged for the alleged murder of her lover

A woman in Ondo has been arrested and taken before a court in the state after she was accused of killing her lover, Vanguard reports.

23-year-old Ajowele Busayo, a primary school teacher, was said to have set one Anthony David on fire in the Basiri Area of Akure, the state capital.

The Prosecutor, ASP Ayodele Atandeyi, reportedly told the court that Awojele committed the crime on July 14 at about 9.00 a.m.

The victim was rushed to a hospital after the incident but he succumbed to his injuries and died.

The court has ordered that the suspect be remanded at theOlokuta prison pending the determination of the case
