Miley Cyrus parties topless in NYC

Awww, I see she's missed being in the news. She had to do something to get people talking about her again. Miley went topless, with only ice cream pasties covering her nipples, as she attended an Alexander Wang after party for New York Fashion Week yesterday with some friends. She also wore Cannabis earrings and her glasses were made out of pills. And the cigarette in one hand. How cool! See more photos after the cut...

Germany's Oliver Struempfel Waiter Smashes Beer-Carrying Record

A 38-year old tax inspector from Abensberg in Bavaria set a new world record in "beer-mug-carrying" on Sunday, less than two weeks before the start of Munich’s famous Oktoberfest. Oliver Struempfel managed to carry 27 full one-liter beer mugs – or "mass" as they are known in German – over 130 feet. “I have worked here in the beer tent for the past 17 years, so I have lots of training,” Struempfel told Reuters after winning the competition at the local Gillamoos beer festival. Struempfel admitted that he could not do without “training in a fitness center, especially in winter time.” Each mug weighed approximately 5 pounds.

Egypt arrests seven over 'gay wedding'

Authorities detain seven men accused of appearing in a video apparently showing the country's first gay marriage.

Homosexuality can be punished in Egypt under several different statutes on morality [YouTube footage]
Egypt has arrested seven men for taking part in a gay wedding video that went viral on social media, accusing them of inciting debauchery and undermining public morals.
The seven were arrested on Saturday after appearing in the video purporting to show the country's first gay marriage as two men exchanged rings surrounded by friends.
"Nine of the 16 participants were identified in an investigation and seven were arrested," state news agency MENA said, without specifying whether the two men at the centre of the ceremony were among those detained.
The seven were remanded in custody for up to four days, accused of "incitement to debauchery" and "publishing indecent images," MENA added.
The public prosecutor's office said in a statement that the party took place in April but the footage went viral in August, causing the police to take action to identify the men.
Prosecutors said they had also ordered "medical tests" of the men, a longstanding practice in Egypt to allegedly identify homosexuals that has been denounced by human rights groups.
Homosexuality is not included in a list of sexual offences explicitly outlawed by Egyptian law, but it can be punished under several different statutes on morality.
In April, four men were convicted and sentenced to eight years in prison for debauchery after holding parties that involved homosexual acts where women's clothing and makeup were found.
The largest crackdown on homosexuals in Egypt took place in 2001, when police raided a floating disco called the Queen Boat. Fifty-two men were tried in the case that drew widespread criticism from human rights groups and Western governments.

We tried to raise money for him back in 2013 here

Unfortunately he has passed away. He died on Saturday morning September 6th while in his mother's arms. Baby Miracle was born 28th of June 2012. Guess he's too good for this world. Sleep with the angels little one.

Adaeze Yobo opens up on how she met, got pregnant and married Joseph Yobo

Speaking with Sun News, former beauty queen and Joseph Yobo's wife, Adaeze Igwe Yobo, opened up on how they met, how fast they got married, and the joys motherhood. Excerpts below...

How did you meet your husband?
I met him in Nigeria through a friend at an event. From there, we became close friends. I became pregnant and we got married immediately. Everything happened in a very short time. A lot of people thought it wasn’t going to work but at that moment, I knew I felt something I had never felt with anyone in my life and I said to myself, why not take that chance? I’m quite prayerful , so I knew there’s no way I could err, though I never planned getting married so early. I had so many dreams of what I wanted in life. Marriage was the last thing on my mind. It happened so fast and I thought I should give it a shot. Continue...
So, what attracted you to him?
When we first met, I didn’t know who he was really. He didn’t know that I was the most beautiful girl in Nigeria. When I knew he was a footballer, I said to myself this relationship might not work or lead us anywhere, because of the lifestyle of some footballers who have so many girlfriends.
Do you regret marrying him?
Not at all. No marriage can ever be perfect. Even my relationship with my mum can never be perfect. I have never regretted any moment with my husband and I always say to my sisters and cousins that I don’t know what I could have been without my husband. I wondered the kind of man I would have ended up with if I didn’t marry him. I thank God that He planned my life and I’m living the life He planned for me. God has been gracious to me in every way.
When exactly did you leave Nigeria?
As soon as I met my husband, I left the shores of Nigeria for further studies. I went to New York. I got married in 2009 and in 2010, I had my son.
What do you miss about Nigeria?
I have been coming for Christmas. I usually spend two weeks intermittently in Nigeria and return , because I’m in school. I’m studying New Media in Turkey. I miss Nigeria a lot because of fashion and music back home.
What’s it like being a mother?
It’s been a wonderful experience being mother to this wonderful son of mine. When the little boy came out from my body, I discovered that he’s my first real love. I thought I was in love with my husband not until I saw my son. I have never loved somebody that much in my life.
