Buhari's Victory: Another Man Trekker On His Way To FCT

Following the successful trekking of Suleiman Hashimu from Lagos to Abuja, another die-hard supporter of the president-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, identified as Abubakar Duduwale, has started a walk from Yola, the capital of Adamawa state to the federal capital Abuja.

Duduwale, who is from Yola North local government area in Adamawa state and  from the Chamba tribe, told newsmen in Yola on Saturday as he commenced his journey that the adventure was to express his joy over the emergence of Buhari as president-elect.

Man dressed as Jesus carrying a cross runs in London Marathon


Someone posted this pic on instagram yesterday saying they spotted a man in the London Marathon dressed as Jesus - on the cross. The man was later identified as Makoto Takeuchi from Japanese rock band The Chambers Flag. He thought running as Jesus would be cool and didn't bother wearing shoes because according to him, 'Jesus didn’t wear any.'

21 killed by Boko Haram in Yobe today

21 persons are feared dead after suspected Boko Haram members ambushed them in Bultaram village in Gujba Local government area of Yobe state on Monday April 27th. Baba Nuhu, an official of the local government where the men were killed, said the victims, all male, had gone to their deserted village to see if they could collect some food when they were ambushed and shot dead by the sect members. According to AFP, the victims and their families had taken refuge in Damaturu the Yobe state capital after the sect members attacked their village some months back
