Abuja Residents Carry Caskets With PDP Logo

After trying for the post of the President three consecutive times, Muhammadu Buhari’s persistence finally paid off.
He emerged the winner Nigeria’s presidential election, sending his supporters and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) into celebration mood.
Buhari became the first Nigerian to oust an incumbent president through the ballot box.
President Goodluck Jonathan’s People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has been ruling since the end of military rule in 1999. The party has been losing popularity due to the rise of Boko Haram’s insurgency in the North East and a string of corruption scandals.
Buhari’s supporters have been celebrating all over the country, following his success.
Apparently, some people are taking the celebration to another level, as some of his supporters were seen this morning in the Gwagalada area of Abuja carrying small caskets wrapped with PDP logos.
