Why GEJ Should Implement Confab Report

The chairman of the Senate committee on the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Smart Adeyemi, has explained  why Nigerians should rally round President Goodluck Jonathan in his bid to implement the report of 2014 National Conference.
Speaking in Abuja on Monday, March 23, 2014, the senator said if the confab report is implemented that Nigeria will be restructured along the lines of true federalism and engender development.
Speaking further on the benefits of implementing the confab report, Hon. Adeyemi stated that such a development would ensure justice, equity, even development and address the injustice done to different sectors of the polity.

The senator urged politicians of the South West to put in more effort to see the actualisation of the report as it provides an answer to the region’s questions that fuelled their agitation for national confe‎rence.
