The current Governor Of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha on Friday last week, gave out free laptops to the students of Imo State University.

Life-Saving Relief For Nigerian North-East

The United Nations (UN) Central Emergency Fund has released 28 million dollars (about N5.6 billion) to support victims of the violence in the northeast zone of Nigeria.

Afghan Woman Beaten To Death And Set Ablaze For Burning Quran

A Shocking video has emerged of an Afghan woman beaten to death by a mob before her body was set on fire and dumped in a muddy river in the heart of Afghanistan’s capital.

The video shows crowds of men repeatedly stamping on the 27-year-old, named only as Farkhunda, near the Shah-e Doh Shamshira shrine and mosque in the heart of Kabul, according to the Daily Mail.
The UK Mirror reports that in the video, the young men repeatedly kick and punch the woman. While some throw stones and buckets at her as she struggles to get to her feet.
