Obasanjo To Jonathan: Be Ready To Face Dire Consequences Of Poll Shift

On Saturday, former President Olusegun Obasanjo warned President Goodluck Jonathan of the possible dire consequences of delaying the elections.
Obasanjo spoke to journalists at his Presidential Hilltop Estate, Abeokuta mansion in Ogun State. He opined on the state of the nation and gave his opinion on the elections postponement.

On Saturday, the NPF PR Officer Emmanuel Ojukwu reported that IGP Abba addressed senior officers in his office. He reminded them the NPF is supposed to “save and protect lives, and not to kill, contrary to recent statements in the media”.

Man Charged For Sex With Dead Woman In Mortuary

A 26-year-old homeless man was caught having with a female corpse at Hill Watson Peoples Funeral Service in the Georgian city of Columbus, USA.
Police officers detained Domonique Smith for stealing a bicycle but the subsequent investigation revealed that the young man is also guilty of another crime. It appeared that Mr Smith who lives on the street broke into the funeral home and had sexual contact with the body of an unnamed woman.

Commenting on the incident Captain Gordon Griswould said, “The investigation led us to believe he had a sexual act with the woman’s body. This is extremely rare.We look for the best protection and security for the families we have served in this community for 65 years.”

I Believe In Buhari- Obasanjo

Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has disclosed that he believes in the leadership qualities of General Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate.

Obasanjo stated this while answering questions from newsmen who waited at his Presidential Hilltop, Abeokuta Saturday morning. “I believe General Buhari will fight corruption, he will give firm leadership. When he was there before, he was a military and military leader is both the executive and the legislative but in democracy, it is not possible like that.
“Moreso, military has been rendered impotent and I believe he will do everything to resuscitate it because he knows the military well, so he will do it, if he fails to do it, I will say shame unto him,” Obasanjo posited.

Canadian police said they had foiled a plot by two suspects who were planning on going to a mall and killing as many people as they could before committing suicide on Valentine's Day in Halifax.
The suspects were on a chat stream and were apparently obsessed with death and had many photos of mass killings, a police official said on Friday.
