Obasanjo Warns Nigerians As He Introduces Book In UK

Nigeria’s former President Olusegun Obasanjo is in the news again, and again, in connection with his controversial autobiography “My Watch”.

It should be recalled that during the launch of his book in Kenya, OBJ openly endorsed the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), despite being member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

APC Accuses Fayose Of Siezing Cars


The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State has accused Governor Ayodele Fayose of alleged sharp practice of seizing of official vehicles belonging to government officials under former Governor Kayode Fayemi.

The party accused the governor of plans to use cronies from Ibadan to buy the seized cars and later deposit them at his newly refurbished car showroom for sale to the public.

APC Warns Jonathan To Caution His Wife

Members of the All Progressives Congress from Okrika Local Government Area of Rivers State have called on President Goodluck Jonathan to caution his wife, Dame Patience Jonathan, over the woman’s alleged refusal to allow the party to hold its governorship campaign in the area.

The party alleged that rather than agree to provide security for the APC governorship campaign in Okrika, the state Police command had suggested that the event be postponed indefinitely since it (command) would not be able to guarantee security if the rally was held.

Some of the things Pres. Jonathan said during his media chat this evening


President Jonathan held a media chat this evening and below are a few important points he put across.

He said in Lagos, on 38% have their PVCs, so if elections are held, 62% will not be able to vote.

About Boko Haram, he said there is no hiding place for the terrorist group. That he had meetings with the President of Chad and he said before he can send troops to Nigeria, the AU have to be involved. He also said Boko Haram doesn't necessarily have to be completely wiped out before elections are conducted. He also said taking over the territories captured by Boko Haram does not mean that the group have been wiped out.
